Foundational Teaching Excellence: Paper I Coaching

Paper I is designed for candidates who wish to pursue a career in teaching young learners from classes I to V. This examination evaluates the foundational teaching skills, subject knowledge, and understanding of the educational needs of young children.

TET Paper 1

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for Paper I, candidates must meet the following requirements:

–  Educational Qualification: A minimum of 50% in Senior Secondary (or equivalent) or a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

–  Age Limit: There is no age restriction for taking Paper I.

Syllabus

Each section contains objective-type questions with multiple-choice answers.

–  Child Development (Primary School Child)

–  Concept of Inclusive Education and Understanding Children with Special Needs

–  Learning and Pedagogy

2. Language-I

– Language Comprehension

– Pedagogy of Language Development

3. Language-II

– Comprehension

– Pedagogy of Language Development

4. Mathematics

– Content (Number System, Shapes & Geometry, Data Handling, etc.)

– Pedagogical Issues

5. Environmental Studies

 – Content (Family and Friends, Food, Shelter, Water, Travel, etc.)

– Pedagogical Issues
